You will receive a personalised contract when booking me for your wedding day. I am including some information here on my website so you are familiar with the details.
The contract is with Karen Berry trading as Karen Berry Photography
The Photographer will document the events in a candid manner and take
formal portrait and group shots as indicated on the wedding checklist as
filled out by the clients (if required)
The Photographer and the Clients agree that unless stated otherwise in
this document, the Photographer owns any and all copy or reproduction
rights.
The Clients agree that the Photographer may use any photograph/image
for publicity & advertising purposes to promote Karen Berry Photography, this
may include publication on the Photographer’s website. However, just let me know if you have a reason why you would require me to not share the images and I will amend your contract in line with your request.
Payment Requirements
To reserve your chosen date, the Photographer requires a booking fee
payment of 20%, the Photographer will not hold any date open without
receipt of said payment. Said payment is non-refundable for any reason,
except if the Photographer cancels this contract.
The remaining balance must be received by the
photographer no later than 14 working days before the wedding date.
File processing and editing will commence following the wedding date and shall be completed within one month for weddings between September – June or within 6 weeks for peak season weddings in July & August.
Any complaints should be made via email to Karen Berry Photography, within 28 days of receiving your images.
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day the contracts starts, which is the day the booking fee is received.
After a period of 14 days from the date of signing this contract, as
compensation for loss of income to the Photographer the following charges
apply as a percentage of the total fee due.
30 days or less before the wedding – 100%,
31 to 60 days before the wedding – 75%,
61 to 90 days before the wedding – 50%
Should the said wedding be a postponement, then, subject to availability,
all money paid may be applied to the new wedding date.
If the Photographer has to cancel this contract for reasons beyond their
control (death, injury, sickness etc.) their liability shall be limited to a full
refund of all monies paid. I will however, always endeavour to find a replacement photographer of a similar style and standard to myself.
The photographs supplied will be of a quality and style that is shown on my website and social media pages.
Delivery:
A USB drive containing the wedding photographs will be delivered via Royal Mail Special Delivery to an address supplied by the customer.
The Photographer has full Public Liability, and professional indemnity
insurance.
